I mentioned the the esteemed Professor Girard (may he rest in peace) in a previous post. His Mimetic Theory has had a profound influence on the story of Cain: Son of Adam. Indeed, it was only after discovering Girard's work that the story began to finally take shape.
Below is a brief overview of Girard's Mimetic Theory.
Naturally, this has profound implications for our understanding of religion, culture, and politics. I'll be elaborating on these in future posts.
